Miriam’s description
Inspired by a painting I had seen some years ago, I wanted to create a finer, more delicate version of tiny flowers and blooms ascending upwards, almost as though they are being released and finding freedom in the heavens.
The boat and solitary figure below give a sense of stillness and journey, while the rising blossoms suggest movement, release and transformation. I explored the idea through different coloured backgrounds, each creating its own mood and atmosphere.
Just one of those magical images that stayed with me and eventually found its own form.
