Miriam’s description
Prior to painting these ladies, I painted Jesus in the same posture. It was during the time of Covid, where I wondered if Jesus was watching over us, and sometimes, with crooked ways, that his head would have to tilt in order to understand the madness and chaos in which we lived. The design inspired me to take this style further, and the ladies were born from there.
